PC Protect is a protection suite that includes an antivirus and other useful functions. It allows you to scan your system and eliminate malicious software, as well as delete duplicated files, clean up your junk and browser data, and more.
However, when I tested it, I had another antivirus installed, and PC Protect’s scanning process got stuck. It may be that I needed to uninstall the previous antivirus to make PC Protect work properly. Also, some other functions are disabled when you run a malware scan. These functions get unblocked when you stop the malware analysis, but even so, the duplicate files analysis and the junk cleaner took a long time on the computer I used for testing.
Other features of the program beyond the system analysis include the option of creating a vault to safely protect and organize your passwords, as well as to set a gaming mode so you can play your games without being interrupted by the antivirus feature.
Several features are disabled in the freeware version (malware real-time protection, VPN, Adblock Pro, Family Protection, and the Pro file cleaning function is limited to only 48 hours). To activate or expand them, you will need to purchase the paid-based version.
